ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A St. Louis County woman was arrested Friday morning and charged with selling counterfeit goods bearing trademarks of numerous clothing, purse and shoe manufacturers.
Authorities said Soukeye Fox, 49, also known as Soukeye Samb and Sue Fox was indicted by a federal grand jury on Thursday on one felony count of trafficking counterfeit goods. Fox was taken into custody Friday morning.
According to the indictment, Fox owned and operated businesses located on West Florissant, Cherokee Street and the Frison Flea Market, wherein she allegedly sold counterfeit good. Authorities said some of the goods originated in China. Fox has also, reportedly, maintained an inventory of components to make counterfeit purses, including almost 6,000 counterfeit purse labels.
Fox also owned marks by Guru (Ture Religion Brand Jeans), Prada, Coach, and numerous others.
If convicted, Fox’s charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and/or fines up to $2-million.

Nous devons sensibiliser nos compatriotes de la gravite des « counterfeits ». Ils savent que c’est illegal mais ils sont rarement convaincus de la gravite parcque c’est tolere au Senegal beacoup de gens pensent c’est ok dans d’autre pays. Il y’a quelques annees un autre gars d’une cinquante d’annees et support d’une famille de 30 personnes au Senegal a ete mis en prison pour les memes raisons et il va etre deporte quand il sort. C’est dommage
